Design, fabrication, and sales of products and art ranging from furniture to printmaking. Work sold online, at local art galleries, and during various art exhibitions and community fund-raisers.

Responsible for design, space-planning, and specification of commercial office and systems furniture. Facilitation of client meetings, ergonomic evaluations, creation of proposals, generation of presentation renderings, value-engineering, communication with manufacturers regarding custom furniture solutions, collaboration with sales and project management staff to keep projects on time and budget, as well as commercial outside sales to key accounts.

Managed classrooms of up to 30 students, including those with special needs. Taught classes of various age groups, educational, and grade levels. Coordinated daily activities and lesson plans.

Researched, designed, and developed portable lighting, fixtures, and fountains for the Kenroy Home brand, as well as for special customers such as Menards, Home Decorators Club, and Seventh Avenue. Communicated designs through hand sketching, CAD, and working drawings to Asia-based manufacturers on a daily basis. Value-engineered products to reduce manufacturing costs. Traveled to trade shows to aid in the setup of showrooms, meet with customers, and analyze industry trends.

Coaching and mentoring students with projects, implementing safety protocol, maintaining equipment and facilities, opening and closing model shop.

Designed hard and soft goods, researched trends, and prepared presentations as part of an interdisciplinary collaborative product venture within SCAD. Developed designs for clients such as Barnes & Noble, Blik, and Coca-Cola .

Designed and engineered chair based on existing product line, conducted materials and finishing research, prepared forms for production, provided quality control for finishing department, processed product for packing and shipping.
