Alixzandar Morle

I am a 27 year old Trinidadian designer with a BFA from SCAD Industrial Design (ID) program, as well as a minor in Interaction Design (IxD). I have 7 years past experience in post production and motion media. I specialized in certain aspects of the industry that would enforce my journey of design. I discovered that design is being able to connect the dots. My philosophy is about travel and experience, this allows us to absorb semantics from our fellow beings, receive creative epiphanies, and act upon it. Design is emergent, we need to thoroughly understand and analyze the past in order to innovate. As a young designer, I am a firm believer of mistakes and I savor challenges to feed my voracious appetite for an obstacle. Design is about collaboration and maintaining a harmony between skill sets. I moved over to the Bay Area because of the mindset and determination of the people. I worked with the small start-up environment as well as spending sometime in the silicon valley with a corporate job as a UX consultant. The optimum studio would be one that is well equipped in terms of resource or has the means through collaborative partnership. Ideally I want to work with eclectic creatives who are culturally diverse and wish to maintain culture through their ideas.
