- Designed women’s footwear for better/bridge/luxe markets, across product
categories from dress to casual. Top franchises included best-selling casual
boots, ballets, and menswear-inspired oxfords and loafers.
- Partnered with merchandising and sales teams to develop franchises that
grew the business exponentially, including the top-selling Air Bacara ballet.
- Directed special design projects and initiatives, setting direction and concepts
and leading a team of designers and developers.
- Trained and developed junior team members; set assignments and managed
workflow.
- Presented design concepts and prototypes to merchant team and executives;
oversaw the creation of presentation materials.
- Day-to-day responsibilities included: trend research; generating original design
concepts; sketching and developing uppers, constructions, outsoles, and
hardware; detailing materials and colors; and rendering designs in Illustrator.
- Development travel to China; trend research travel to Europe and Asia.

- Directed all aspects of the design process for the footwear collection from
concept to completion. Responsibilities included: trend research, sketching
constructions and uppers, material selection, specs, and presentation of design
concepts and prototypes to merchant team and executives.
- Directly managed assistant designer; on-boarded junior and senior team members.
- Grew the footwear business from a small, primarily dress offering to a broad and
profitable collection by expanding into ballet flats, sandals and flip flops.
- Development travel to China and Brazil; trend research travel to Europe.

-Designed and illustrated promotional products including handbags and SLGs for clients in the beauty industry such as Lancome, Redken, Clarins and Ulta.
-Involved in all aspects of the design process including initial concepts, renderings utilizing Illustrator and Photoshop, specs and sample correction, material selection, and color approvals.

-Designed casual and athletic men's footwear for urban and lifestyle brands Avirex and Plugg
-Involved in all aspects of the design process from intial sketches to marker renderings, hand drafting, computer rendering and detailing, and specs.
