Creator & Founder2006 - 2019 (13 years)Founded and bootstrapped a start-up for a product I created called ZYM; a portable hydration fizz tablet for athletes. Developed the vision, brand assets, nomenclature, logo, packaging, digital communication, and print material. Orchestrated strategies to create brand awareness of a better hydration product through consumer insights, focus groups, and product innovation. Established an account base of over 2,000 retailers throughout North and South America, Europe, and Australia. Managed and maintained relationships with sales associates, distributors, buyers, and customers. Successfully exited the company by selling ZYM profitably to a leading sports equipment manufacturer in the industry.
