Delesia Watson

Delesia Watson is a graduate of George Mason University and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Public Relations & Corporate Communication at New York University.



Delesia believes her life is about making a difference in the lives of others in both her personal and professional lives. She chose a career in Communication because communication changes lives. Detailed in her resume, she has both agency and in-house communications experience, where she handled time-sensitive projects across various time zones throughout the U.S. and abroad.



Delesia became a published author in the third grade when she wrote a book of poems that earned her a first place win in her school's Young Authors contest. Naturally, she took writing very seriously ever since, scribing everything from yearbook and newspaper articles to blog posts, speeches, press releases, 140-character bombs of knowledge and even her own eulogy once.



With her years of experience come solid writing, editing and research skills. Her attention to detail, commitment to service and values-driven approach to success are unmatched. In her free time, she volunteers with youth and serves as the official speechwriter for her father, a local businessman and public speaker.
