Edward Budrow

My focus has been with the development of the Fabrication Lab, specifically equipment and materials procurement and training. I’ve developed several accredited courses which utilizes graphical programs to design, develop, and produce on equipment such as 3D printers and laser cutters.

Maintained campus Windows-based systems and environment, provide computer support for staff, faculty,
and students. We collaborated with local Native corporation for job placement programs to source young IT interns to
provide service and support during the summer months at the campus, while educating our interns about the workforce.

Created a refreshed, updated and defined visual identity for the campus through UAF’s existing
guidelines. Worked closely with student services to develop and implement a new user experience
for prospective and returning students. Worked and collaborated with professional printers to
create printed materials such as: certificate holders, presentation folders, and stickers for both
promotional, and internal use.

Primarily responsible for the concepting, development and illustration of storyboards. Additional
duties include but are not limited to: production of executive presentation decks, UX wireframing,
UI skinning and bug testing.

Interpreted and made aesthetic/functional revisions from 2D drawings and prototype models
into manufacture-ready digital models. Assisted with technical details between client
and machinist.

Class-based project with real world application in infographics and display design. Collected field
research and application/interpretation of data into an educational display for visitors at
their showroom.
