    My name is Don Fitzwater and have over 25 years experience in most facets of graphic arts, creative direction, brand development, account management, and growing business from the ground up.

    My passion is to build globally consistent brands through scalable processes and world class creative execution. I have worked with major design firms, internal creative departments and Fortune 100 CPG companies throughout my career on all creative disciplines with a focus on print production execution, vendor management and concept form factor designs with packaging & display. Most recently focused on promotional CPG displays targeting the grocery market.

    The foundation of my career began by learning color theory at the top color house in the nation, Color Control Inc. In 1999 I was instrumental in the Xbox brand execution strategy for packaging, color management, project management, and production art. I worked closely with Microsoft and Adobe on a global scale to eliminate film and establish digital delivery. This lead to an invitation to speak at Seybold conference helping define the print standards based on the success of the Xbox launch, establishing PDFX1A 2001 format.

    In 2005 I joined a startup packaging and display office, Rocktenn. I wore multiple hats overseeing ideation, print production, project management, and sales supporting launches and promotions for Xbox, Windows 7, Halo franchise, EA Sports, NYKO and Valve. Working with major retailers and distributors like EA, Technicolor and Arvato taught me the necessary supply chain management from concept to consumer.

    From 2009-2013 I was with BDA Inc, leading the creative development and positioning for video game accessory brand, PowerA. My oversight and support of vendor management, packing design, display and process implementation were instrumental in the growth of PowerA from $80mm to over $140mm annually. As Packaging Manager I also supported packaging/display RFPs for all other BDA packing and production needs. In 2010 I drove the packaging initiative for the Walmart video game accessories standards in which BDA was nominated sustainability vendor of the year.

    Since 2014 I have been in a sales and account management role for Sonoco Display and Packaging with a focus on driving growth and surpassing annual budgets YOY consistently. All while managing and building strong CPG relationships with clients like Starbucks, helping them drive promotional ROI and increased retail placement of corrugated displays.
