Jeeheon Cho

Hi! My name's Jeeheon, and I'm a photographer based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.



My journey with photography began with developing my own black and white film when I was 13 years old. The study of light and composition has been with me ever since, continually enriching and informing the way I see.



I'm from Boston and went to Bowdoin College in Maine. After college, I moved to Boulder, Colorado to climb and be a ski bum. After that I spent the next few years traveling and taking pictures. Since 2007, I've lived in Nepal, South Korea, Thailand, and Japan. In between, I traveled throughout India, Malaysia, England, and Scotland.



During my time abroad I also met my wife, Amy. We moved to Ann Arbor last spring and eloped in Vegas in August 2012!



My travels gave me the opportunity to photograph a wide range of subjects across cultures. Whether it's portraits or products, landscapes or architecture, events or head shots, there is nothing I love more than finding and capturing the beauty in my subjects.
