About
I am currently a photographer for The Freemans' Journal/ Hometown Oneonta Newspaper. I also am a Coordinator at the Oneonta Teen Center where I teach art classes in various mediums including mask making, drawing, giant puppet making and more. I am frequently hired by Orpheus theatre to paint drops for their performances.
I recently finished my first book cover for 'The Einstein Sisters Bag the Flying Monkeys" by Irving Wesley Hall.
Attended two years at Sage college in Albany , three at The School of Visual Arts in NY under such great artists as Steve Brodner, and Ju Chung -

March 2014: Komainu mask earns Best in Show in at the CANO Members art show.
Nov. 2013: Alien Costume featured in UGM annual conference during a demo skit as well as the executive address.
March 2013: Created 8ft tall talking head of Oz was featured in Milford Central Schools' production of The Wizard of Oz.
March 2013: Alien costume featured on Dailycosplay.com.
Feb. 2013: Photography featured in SUNY Oneonta course book.
Nov. 2012: Alien Costume earns 3rd place in Instructables.com Halloween Costume Contest.
Oct 2012: Created large scale Grim Reaper puppet for First Night Oneonta.
Oct 2012: The Maitlands masks come in at #10 of the 25 Best-Ever Halloween Costumes by Readers of Buzzfeed.com, with the Alien Xenomorph coming in at #2.
Sept. 2012: Audrey II plant puppets stage 1-4 created for and featured in Orpheus Theatre of Little Shop of Horrors.

Dec 2011: Best Puppets in Parade award for Cymbal Monkey and Owl Spirit..
Oct. 2011: The Maitlands masks receive First place prize in NECA Costume Contest, Paranormal Phenomena Contest and several others online and locally.
Oct 2009: Capresso Best Costume Award, Foothills Best Costume Award for Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robot costume
