Senior Designer. Designs and develops custom branded programs and seasonal direct sale product to meet customer and business needs in the uniform and safety apparel industry including performance knits, wovens, outerwear, safety, FR and ANSI compliant. Lead design on all sustainable and eco-focused textiles and apparel offerings.

Assisted in researching and launching tattoo portion of the business. Plans, monitors and completes daily shop operations. Responsible for creative works, including advertising, marketing, promotion and business profile development. CAD related artwork development, audience promotion and social media. Maintains scheduling and appointments. Assists artists with tattoo artwork preparation. Establishes and maintains shop merchandising and visual standards. Builds strong client relationships through verbal communication, interpersonal skills and meetings client needs; inspiring long-term, return customers. Maintains the stability and reputation of the shop by providing a safe and clean environment and complying with legal requirements.

Girls and Boys Sweaters. Assisting the Senior Designer in the development of private, in house label knitwear apparel design and artwork according to strategic merchandising plans, and thorough market and trend research. Assisting in development of concept boards and seasonal trend direction. Communicate and interpret conceptual design ideas. Work with in house and out of house freelance services. Complete all detail flat sketches using Illustrator. Assist with design, development and execution of technically accurate, full scale artwork, embroideries, jacquards and intarsias using Kaledo Knit, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Create presentation boards for buyer as well as monthly ladder plan linesheets. Attend concept, strategy, prototype and copyright meetings. Performs special projects for other departments such as Dresses and Play wear and Newborn-Toddler sweaters as assigned.

Dept. 71, Children’s Play wear and Dresses and Dept. 70, Girls and boys sweaters. Developing and maintaining all ladder plan sketches for play wear and dress styles using Abode Illustrator. Filling mini bodies with completed garment style and print, created using Illustrator and Photoshop. Creating line art and embroidery art using Adobe Illustrator. Researching and documenting upcoming trends. Organizing line-sheets of styles by monthly ladder plan. Organizing and naming prints for styles. Assisting with sketches of girls and boys sweaters, creating cables and stitch patterns.
