Illustrate and design various projects for generic and licensed branded products for Spirit
Halloween and Spencer’s Gifts divisions within the Product Development team.

• Illustrate generic and licensed products for Spirit Halloween and Spencer’s Gifts divisions
such as home / outdoor decor, drinkware, collectibles, giftware, and various pop culture
goods and impulse items.
• Design and engineer generic and licensed repeat prints for apparel and home goods.
• Assist with various seasonal costume and accessories designs and revisions.
• Assist packaging division with photo retouching and silhouetting of products / items.

Design packaging graphics for a variety of private label art and consumer goods products
for a major retail chain.

• Design various seasonal and non-seasonal art supplies, home goods, and other lifestyle
goods and accessories.
• Photograph and retouch art supplies, decor items, and home goods for use in packaging.
• Communicate with overseas vendors to assure quality control, correct brand application,
and color consistency across all company’s private label brands.

Create illustrative and functional sticker designs, 3-dimensional paper products and stamps
for paper arts division. Manage in-house photography and retouching of all creative projects.

• Appointed lead designer on Wall Art and Stickofy programs that got top placement at
key retailers Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Target.
• Manage all tiers of product design from trending research and POS-based data through
to production sampling to ensure quality and design integrity of all products.
• Lead photographer / retoucher for all in-house creative projects from styling through digital
asset management for use in company’s marketing materials and online presences.

Assembled and supervised a successful 5-person character art department for 6 years that
aligned seamlessly with entire company’s project needs and yielded 75% licensor-approved
designs. Managed newly established boys‘ licensed art division which generated 5 seasons’
worth of successful POS-based increased sales.

• Oversaw 5 character artists with a 75% licensor-approved on-model consistency and accuracy
• Senior designer / illustrator for newly-created Boys’ Licensing division with proven product
placement in major retailers Macy’s, Target, Walmart, and Children’s Place.
• Implemented and assisted in setup of entire Mac-driven art division which resulted in reduced
outsourcing and printing costs. Worked alongside IT team to diminish productivity disruptions.
• Produced all company’s signage, art displays, and quarterly print ads for major garment trade
publications Earnshaw’s, Children’s Business and License! and branding for several award-
winning product lines.
