Jozy Klupar

I am the co-founder of PAX, a non-profit orgainization which helps empower Artisans in Peru by giving them the opportunity to become financially stable.

I sell lace jewlery on etsy and to various shops in the bay area. My love for lace, fueled my passion and inspiration for this shop. I love working with lace, the elegant details, and flaws which make each piece unique!

I worked at a product design firm where I generated concepts in 2D, further develop them in Solidworks while simultaneously developing the form with mockups and models. I had to discuss ideas and generate concepts with the client as well as the team. I made patterns for wearable softgoods. Specific projects include: golf apparel, electronics, wearable athletic softgood electronics.

I worked in a small community in Peru to design and implement self-sustaining projects in health, education, and economic development. I specifically worked with Peruvian artisans to design and develop new products for sale in the U.S. and Peru.

I worked under the direction of Sheila Tousey to design and create the garments for the play Comanche Women. I made major design decisions while also improving my sewing, communication, and leadership skills.

Fit the cast, cleaned the garments, arranged the garments in the appropriate order and made sure they were put back in the right places. Helped with costume changes and alterations during the shows.
