• Responsible for running the entire design department at Rupa Publications
• Keeping a quality check on the design as well as the production
• Worked on creating identities for the new imprints [Rainlight (premium hard backs), Red Turtle (children's books) and Maven (business books)]
• Generating resources/ new talent for various areas of work such as illustrators, photographers, designers
• Liaising between the Publisher-editor-designer. Understanding the brief and translating it into a finished product

• Cover design for fiction, non-fiction as well as children's books
• Finding new talent in the field of illustration as well as photography
• Part of the core strategy team in the area of re-jacketing and re-positionaing of the old titles

• Worked on identities for brands like Amby Valley, space graphic for 2 seasons of Lakme Fashion Week, Identities, menus and seasonal promotion Hayatt and Marriott hotels.
• Lead and managed a team of 3-4 junior designers
• Responsibilities included: getting a brief form the client/ account manager, conceptualizing, executing the ideas and guiding the junior designers and finally presenting the client.
• Looking through the project till the stage of final printing.

• Worked on packaging of the premium packaging for Cadbury's Celebrations Chocolates and identity as well as Festival promotions for Marriott Hotels (Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad)
• Lead and managed a team of 3-4 junior designers
• Responsibilities included: getting a brief form the client/ account manager, conceptualizing, executing the ideas and guiding the junior designers and finally presenting the client.
• Looking through the project till the stage of final printing.

• Worked on many brands like Unileaver Fair and Lovely and Annapurna. Was responsible for the account completely.
