About
My name is Miguel, I am a passionately driven creative based in Houston, TX.
From an early age, I was drawn towards fine arts, music, photography, and digital arts. I completed 2 years of the industrial design program at Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture at the University of Houston as well as the curriculum for a digital media minor in computer graphics technology. During my time at the University of Houston, I fostered great passion for design while developing an understanding of the principles that drive good design. I also developed a relentless drive for multidisciplinary exploration as I now focus on graphic design and experiential graphic design.
My work experience, along with a diverse portfolio comprised of photography, graphic design and industrial design projects will demonstrate the quality of my work ethic, my unrelenting drive, and my ability to execute high standards of craft. My graphic design specialties range from print and digital, brand identity, photography and video production.
What truly inspires me are those simple minimalist solutions that get to the core of a great concept. Ultimately, I aim to develop product and graphic solutions that are driven by product sustainability, environmental stewardship, and human-centered design. -

Front-end guest service (cashier/GSC), marketing (graphic artist), grocery (inventory), and prepared foods (clerk).
As a graphic artist, I was responsible for designing and creating graphics for promotions, store literature, signage, & chalks that adhered to brand standards & focused on typographical consistency. This included computer generated and hand drawn flyers, shelf signs, chalkboards, and the store calendar. During which, I worked closely with team leaders from all departments to clearly communicate and perform daily tasks.
As a cashier/GSC, I demonstrated my ability to work the register while providing tailored service with a positive attitude and with friendly enthusiasm. I focused priorities on every guest’s needs in order to build relationships and maintain a happy clientele.
Within every department, I ensured a clean & orderly display of inventory. -
