My background is in science. I studied biology at Stanford and MIT. I consider myself logical, rational, practical. But I also write (I've published a novel, short stories, and essays), play music, make art, dance, and appreciate all things creative. As a designer, I get to use both sides of my brain, while also getting to know people who do fascinating things. Which feels like the best of everything.
