On my current position the duties go way beyond the design. I am countable for keep the projects on track, assure that these projects are reaching the Visual Brand Language criteria, attending the consumer expectation needs and check the possibilities of use common platforms among the projects. At the total they are about 12 ODM projects to be launched till the end of the next year. In order to me achieve these goals I count with the help of 3 other people, one graphic and 2 product designers. It is also my duty visit suppliers in China and other countries to assure the quality, feasibility and the “fit feel finishing” of these products.
Recently on the beginning of 2013 a top load washer that I worked as a Lead design on it won the Electrolux Design Award. This project caught the clients eyes to be the 1st top load washer to have the console interface fully integrated to the machine's lid. This new machines concept allows the consumer to load and unload the machine faster and easier.
