Published Print media/ Advertisements/Creative projects. Being a creative head/ graphic designer in the field of family planning offered me a venue to expand my design methodology and research basis for design output. Being a fairly new and undiscovered concept for much of Pakistan especially in the rural populations, family planning holds enormous potential for design based research and development. Branding material developed for USAID, UKAID and John Hopkins Foundation in conjunction with the Marketing dept. Execution of important maternal and child health care messages very well received in the market.

Nature of projects included urban planning and multi facility complexes. Prepared high quality architectural presentations for clients. Developed plans and rendered them for presentation to clients.

Design services in, Interiors/Stall design/Furniture/Graphics/Commercials I have designed furniture for residences of independent clients transforming existing spaces to harmonize the client's lifestyles and requirements. Graphic design services and advertising commercials is a more recent area of professional involvement. I have learned how to balance customer demands and requirements with cost saving strategies. You will find some of this independent work in my portfolio.

Handled mid to large size client projects. Intense involvement in design coordination and client management. Typical controlling process from factory to end user management. Involved in booth design for Toronto Interior Design Show 2011.

Furniture Line development: Introduced proposals for modern furniture lines keeping in view buying trends and aesthetics choices that shape our society today. Entails production of furniture and other household products of high end quality and aesthetics.

IBM: Design for a reception/reception table that reflected IBM visual identity. Design and rendering: Modern design for the CG's office and 18 seater Conference table/ Conference Room interior. Also created presentation layout and flow.

Furniture Show: (June 2009) Designer /Coordinator and Production Management. CAA: Jinnah International Airport. Karachi, Pakistan. Large Scale Re-design of terminal interiors: consideration of passenger access, circulation spaces and up-gradation of facility and interaction spaces. High level Involvement in the planning process for a new revamped airport interior. Compiled a Presentation illustrating the Plans and layouts as well as a design rationale for CAA.

Pakistan Electric Cables Ltd: Stall (Nations Largest Power Cables distributor). 2009 prize winner. Detailed joinery and free standing sections of stall design. Involved in design development from start to end. Exhibited at IAPEX 2008 (Institute of Architects Pakistan Expo).

OOTCL: Overseas Oil Trading Company. Design and rendering of furniture. Site monitoring for furniture installation.

Other projects include:
- Standard Chartered Bank.: Designed conference tables of various seating capacity with conferencing systems. Designed Executive Dining area furniture design. Installation of tables was scheduled for Karachi branch.
- AFM Artistic Fabric Mills: Stall planning and layout for a major fabrics and denim exporter. Designed for convenient assembly and transportation.
- Karachi Boat Club. Furniture selections for cafeteria and dining rooms. Presentation Layout and design.

Created prototypes and details for potential buildings and structures. Produced illustrations and computer renderings for better evaluation of building materials and site landscaping. Hands on experience with ArchiCAD, building and landscape construction/rendering software. Received commendation by supervisor for effort and motivation in projects.

(freelance) Developed a heat resistant containment unit for data loggers that measure forest fire rate of spread. Containment unit needed to withstand heat temperature in excess of 1300 deg celsius, and fall heights of 60 meters. Established ties with the Alberta Agriculture and Forestry Department.
