Creative Art Director
Provides creative leadership, direction and staff coaching for team of 20 designers, art directors, copywriters, photographers, traffic, and production artists. Partners with staff to meet and exceed creative objectives. Drives the creative process, and creates an inspired and motivated team environment. Approaches accounts and projects with unique strategies based on account knowledge and history, perceived needs, deadlines and budgets. Serves as Leader for Art Directors, Designers, and Copy professionals in the Print department. Optimally allocates resources and oversees workload. Provides brand guidance and direction to ensure consistent alignment with brand standards. Maintains frequent communication during project timeline. * Works with executive management on potential client pitches and existing client upselling. * Strategizes and works closely with Marketing teams to develop new and cohesive product branding campaign solutions, including logos, catalogs, advertisements, brochures and environmental displays. * Coaches junior designers in researching, developing, and gaining feedback on new designs. Encourages experimentation in design and photography (camera angles and locales.) * Partners with Sales teams to create banners and display booths which publicize companies and brands with attractive and eye-appealing design.
