I am a creative professional with over 20 years of design experience. I have a wide range of experience designing print and electronic materials. I enjoy collaborative problem solving and like to come up with creative design solutions to complex problems.
My background is in fine arts; I have a bachelors in painting, drawing, and printmaking. I began my design career as a print designer for White Wolf Games where I designed game cards and books. I worked for Merge Design, a design firm in Atlanta, where I designed corporate annual reports and specialty print pieces. After moving to North Carolina, I worked designing trade magazines for Journalistic, Inc. I currently work for the UNC School of Government; I began as a book designer but have worked for the past several years in the marketing department, developing a branded and unified look for the School. I’m also a freelance designer, I’ve designed books for The National Dance Association, and have also designed CDs, posters, and stickers for several local bands, as well as WXDU radio at Duke University. I am a screen printer; I teach beginning screen printing at Duke University's Art Annex, as well as Super G Print Lab, and run a poster printing outfit called Biovarg Industries. I’m also a musician and radio DJ .
