Jaume Boniquet

Passioned about cars & design, I graduated in Transportation Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design from Torino (Italy) & started my career in 2000 as Junior Exterior Designer at Seat's Technical Center where, among many other projects, I took part in the Leon/Toledo 2nd generation range design.

After leaving Seat, I worked as a freelancer in industrial design in different fields such as custom cars , furniture, jewelry, watches or retail for both companies & private customers.

Early in 2007 I joined Grib Producciones as Senior Industrial Designer, developing several promotional & retail items for companies as Bacardi, Martini, Bombay, Jägermeister, Eristoff, Veuve le Cliquot,etc.

By the end of the same year, I joined Ànima Design, industrial design agency located in the center of Barcelona, firstly as Senior Designer & as Project Manager since 2009. During these +15 years, I have been involved & responsible of several projects of the studio of transportation, hardware tools, lighting, electronics, medical equipment or house hold appliances some of them recognized with international awards like Red Dot, IF Design, European Product Design Awards, ADI-FAD Delta or SZDIF.

Besides my work at Ànima, since 2011 I collaborate with national & international companies as External Design Consultant & since 2017 I lectures as sketching professor at ESDesign (Escuela Superior de Diseño) Barcelona.

From 2019 to 2021, I have collaborated with the ID department of the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art & Design(Russia)tutoring several sponsored diploma projects.
