Born with a need to help design things better. In my world everything is open to being redesigned.
13 years design experience. I have proven design skills to take your ideas from concepts to reality. I have worked as a consultant for restaurant design, as a lead drafter for architectural faćades, a design engineer, and now as an industrial designer.
10 years combine active and reserve military experience, which mean you can count on me to be professional and timely in my delivery.
Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from the Art Institute of Portland Oregon.
I minored in Sustainability, because I want to leave the world a better place than we find it in today. I believe we are the custodians of tomorrow's children's future. Exhibit DesignerPortland Children's MuseumManage the design process and collaborative development of projects related to the Exhibits Department. This includes: project research, prototyping, proposals, concept sketches, presentation collateral, experience narratives, budgeting, project timelines, annotated design drawings, hand and digital renderings, installation assistance and final evaluation. Projects include individual interactive elements, artwork, graphics and printed collateral, and the design of environments in their entirety.

Industrial Design/ DraftingModern EdgeContract design and drafting work. Helped to create 3D Modeling and drafting for the engineering of a unique sippy cup.

Design EngineeringIDL World WideI performed 3D modeling, drafting and design engineering for branded product display environments. I worked with the creative team as an engineering liaison to the prototype department. In this position I helped to create and engineer the branded environments for clients such as Nike, Adidas, Keen, and Nickelodeon. Using Solidworks, I created plan sets and BOM's for the prototyping, build and installation.

OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry)Working with an all-volunteer design team to create a Sustainability exhibit that will open in The fall of 2011. We focused on creating an exhibit element using RFID chips to show children where the ingredient from their pizzas come from.
