Tucker Piontek

I am an industrial designer with experience in architectural model making and rapid prototyping. I most recently worked for Laika Entertainment as an Animation Specialist in the Rapid Prototype department. I coordinated and fabricated in the production of stop motion puppets for feature films. Throughout the R&D, Manufacturing and Maintenance phases of production, I troubleshot design and manufacturing challenges and managed teams to produce hundreds of state of the art puppets that preformed in animated films.

I am very experienced with material sciences, manufacturing processes, design and fabrication, project management and project coordination. I have only worked in deadline-focused conditions where complete dedication and execution are required. I take great pride in my work and have always worked well with dynamic teams from varying fields and backgrounds.

I am currently in a year long contemporary wooden boat building program at the North West School of Wooden Boat Building in Port Hadlock, Washington.
