John Ottinger

I'm the idea guy. If you need a new creative spin on your line or need a totally new direction, that's my specialty. I'm a Toy Designer/gift and a versatile graduate of Art Center College of Design.

I passionately enjoy work which allows me to utilize my skills in the areas of concepting, illustration,sculpting, graphics and product design within the Toy Industry.

Several of my toy designs are currently in Wal-Mart and Bass Pro. “Imagination Adventures” continues

to be in the top 50 sellers in its category.

I very much enjoy working in a team format and have worked with retail buyers in conjunction with Sales

and Marketing teams to concept, mock up, presentation and taking product into final production. The

scope of work on these projects include creating logos, brand identities, dialing in issues of positioning

and, of course, finalizing all aspects of the final packaged physical products.

Additionally, I have sculpted characters for the major movie studios for events such as the Licensing

Shows and have had the opportunity to design and illustrate several children’s books and comics.

In summary, I have a wide range of world class skills covering concepting, packaging, digital art, sculpting

and painting and I am looking forward to meeting with you and walking you through my portfolio.
