I am a PRATT Industrial Design educated Product Development Manager with an extensive background in Hard and Soft Consumer Packaged Goods; designing Tech Accessories, Home Goods and working with Licensed brands like Energizer, U.S.ARMY, Everlast, Jelly Belly, M&M Mars and more. I create successful and profitable products by understanding the full product development process. Beginning with trend to concept, product and package sampling, sourcing, costing, production scheduling and manufacturing.
I have had the opportunity to work directly with international vendors; negotiating cost, maximizing margin, traveling to manufacturing facilities to ensure quality and reinforcing vendor relations. With a continued focus on research and development of trends and competitive landscape, I have managed internal line reviews, new product launches and branded program line extensions.
My position at Nassau Candy was the Product Development Specialist for retail confections. Where I managed and developed high-volume product and packaging for Whole Foods, Sam's Club, Walmart, HEB, Ahold (Stop & Shop), ALDI and Disney to name a few of my accounts. I worked directly with each account rep, developing POP’s, reengineering structural issues and guiding them towards a sustainable packaging option.
