Lead designer for Starbucks VIA Ready Brew, responsible for brand direction, packaging and display solutions for retail, grocery and club environments worldwide. Advise on merchandise, advertising, promotions, partnerships and store experience related to VIA Ready Brew. Also engaged in design and illustration for various coffee packaging and Starbucks card initiatives.

Senior designer responsible for the design and implementation of complex design, marketing and communication systems. Develop branding for large-scale real estate developments including Vulcan Real Estate’s Enso and Terry Avenue and Schnitzer West’s The Bravern Signature Residences. Clients also include Twist Architecture and Design, Sangham Foundation, Swedish Medical Center and Milliken Developments. Direct initial planning and creative development, manage teams of designers, vendors and external creatives, maintain budgets and schedules, and supervise final production.

Develop and lead 10 week courses in Color Theory, Typography and Design Principles.

Designer responsible for executing and managing print, interactive, signage and environmental solutions. Major projects include point-of-purchase campaigns for the launch of Nintendo GameCube and various Nintendo games, branding and advertising for Fisher Plaza, and brand evolution for the Microsoft Global Briefing and DevCon events. Other clients include Alstom, ArtsFund, and Pura Vida Coffee.

Designed print collateral, signage and websites for clients based in philanthropy, the arts, and education. Clients include Kenyon College, City Theatre, The Frick Art and Historical Center, and the Alcoa Foundation.

Provided design services to student organizations within student union and Center for Performing Arts, creating identity marks, posters, advertising, collateral and promotional materials. Promoted to Lead Designer in August 1998 and tasked with managing team of seven student designers, including hiring, training, project assignments and creative review.

As an intern in exhibit design, created identity and signage for Chemistry Matters! an interactive educational program for children at the Carnegie Museum of Science in Pittsburgh. Assisted design team in developing permanent exhibitions for The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, California.
